Roads should be designed for the safety of all road users, i.e., ensuring adequate facilities for pedestrians, cyclists, and motorcyclists. Measures such as footpaths, cycling lanes, safe crossing points, and traffic calming measures are critical to reducing the risk of injury among these road users. In this project, a speed control system for vehicles is proposed in which a microcontroller based system with RF based communication that is simple, low cost, and a durable project for safety of drivers as well as the public.
