You need to normalize the tables (3nf) and eliminate redundancy. You will need more tables
than these shown (particularly, bridge/associative tables). You will need to design your DB ERD
based on the client requirements that are listed in the following section (below). You might need
to elicit or clarify more about the client's needs from your Instructor for all three Lab parts. Any
primary keys used must be an integer, and the next key value will be determined by the highest
key value used. Do not assume any quantities from the field names in the image. Your DB

manage office hours schedules better. After some work with IS professionals, the following
requirements for a web application that will help coordinate office hours visits better:
1. Faculty members and students should be able to create accounts on the system.
2. Faculty should be able to list their office hours and location(s) where office hours will be
held. Students can sign up for these office hours.
3. Faculty can see how many students are signed up for a particular office hours and see the
students in order of sign up. Faculty can manage the list of visiting students, removing
them as they leave.
4. Students can see general information about an office hours, like number of students
registered to stop by and what "number" in line they are.
5. Faculty can choose to see any student in an office hours queue, no matter what the order
of line is.
6. When a faculty member is ready to see a student, the student should get some sort of
notification.
7. Students should be able to search for a specific faculty member, and see the office hours
periods that are upcoming for that faculty.
8. All users should be able to edit information about their profile, like Name, picture,
preferred cell phone number (students only). Students cannot view other students
information.
