What is Ration scale ?
The ratio scale possesses all the characteristics of nominal, ordinal and interval scale and in addition to it, it also possesses a true zero point or origin characteristic. With a zero point, it is possible to calculate the ratios of the scale values. This is a unique feature of ratio scale.
For example, the temperature outside is 0-degree Celsius. 0 degree doesn’t mean it’s not hot or cold, it is a value.
Central tendency :
When observations tend to concentrate around a center , there are some measurement given as :
Mean= The average, or the sum of all the observation divided by the number of scores
Median= The observations or potential observation that divides a distribution in half; an equal amount of observations fall above and below it
Mode= The most frequently occurring score
