The double bond equivalence of the compound can be calculated by using the formula 

DBE = x + 1 - y/2   

where, x = number of carbon atoms and y = number of hydrogen atoms. 

Here, x = 6 and y = 14

DBE = 6 + 1 - 14/2 = 7 -7 =0
