After probate, he receives a mint condition Browning Citori 12 gauge over/under double barrelled shotgun and an excellent condition Colt Single Action Army chambered in .45 Colt. John takes the guns to a gun store and has them appraised. The Browning can be sold for $1400 and the Colt can be sold for $900.

John decides to keep the Colt and sell the Browning.
