1. Through endocytosis virion is taken and viral RNA is released, which is facilitated by a conformational change in CD155.
2. IRES-mediated helps in translation of viral RNA
3. Mature viral proteins are released by cleaving polyprotein
4. positive-sense RNA acts as a template for complementary negative-strand synthesis, produces double-stranded RNA
5. Many positive strands is produced
6. These positive RNA molecules serve as templates for the translation of more viral proteins
7. The formed proteins are enclosed in a capsid
8. This results in the generation of progeny virions.
