Oblique triangle; Drop a perpendicular line from point C to the line A-B and make it's length 151.07'; A = 29° 45' 12"; B = 11° 32' 48".
I'm having trouble with the following problem in the picture. I am able to figure out all the angles but unsure what steps to take to find the sides. I've tried seperating the two "new" triangles and solving through Sin, Cos & Tan but when I check my work it's all wrong. Thank you for help in advance!
Given Information:
The length of the perpendicular from C to AB has the length
Angle
To find:
The missing angles and the missing sides.
Concept used:
i) An oblique triangle is a triangle with no right angle.
An oblique triangle has either three acute angles, or one obtuse angle and two acute angles.
ii) Tangent of the angle
iii) Sine of the angle
iv) Sum of the angles in a triangle is
