(You have several options for calculating the distance.  Since the X and Y coordinates are two sides of a triangle and the distance is the hypotenuse, you can use Pythagorean theory:  A2+B2=C2.   Or in this case, X2+Y2=D2.

Or, if you prefer using trigonometry,  You can use either sine or cosine to calculate the hypotenuse. I KNOW the angle is 45 deg from a previous problem)
