a) Intranet

Employees, clients, and other authorized people are all part of the company. It provides a safe environment for communicating with authorized people and sharing data. The intranet can be used to make confidential information, databases, links, forms, and apps available to employees. As a result, it's similar to a private internet or an internal website that operates within a company to allow access to its information and data to its personnel. A unique IP address identifies each computer on the intranet.

It is based on internet protocols (TCP/IP) and is secured using firewalls and other security mechanisms to prevent unauthorized access. Incoming and outgoing data packets are monitored by the firewall to ensure that they do not contain any illegal requests. Users on the intranet can access the internet, but internet users who aren't permitted can't access the intranet. Furthermore, the authorized user must be connected to the intranet's LAN in order to access it (Local Area Network).
