Nearly 50% of adults in Malaysia are overweight or obese and nearly four in every ten adults have high blood pressure, also called hypertension. It can cause a lot of health problems such as stroke, heart disease, and kidney failure. Someone is considered as a high-risk patient when they have high blood pressure detected.
