INTRODUCTION

MUSCLES (Multi-Scale Coupled-Lattice Simulation) is an open-source, mesoscale-discretized, spatially-resolved, and reaction-diffusion-based simulation framework. It has been designed to study the macroscopic properties of cellular-level processes that occur in living systems.
