Question: Mr. Smith has asked you to answer the below questions using the Fundraising Database posted below. The database is a sample of the history of donors that have contributed to your company.  It includes many variables about the demographics of the donors and the amount they have donated.
  1. What is an interval estimate of the average donation for the population based off this sample?
  2. What is an interval estimate of the proportion of donors that are home owners for the population based off this sample?
  3. Is there a significant difference between the mean maximum donation between donors that own a home and those that do not own a home? Assume unequal variances.
  4. We want to make a claim that the average donation is $13 for the population. Does this sample provide evidence against that claim?
Conduct appropriate confidence intervals and hypothesis tests at 95% confidence (5% significance) to answer these questions and summarize the results for Mr. Smith.

Within each question, add some explanations about how did you come up with the response?   What analysis did you use and what was the output?  If you conducted a hypothesis test, what were your hypotheses?  What would be your conclusion to the question?   What is your recommendation to your manager Mr. Smith?
