T2 - T1 = i × kb × m

where 

  • kb = boiling point elevation constant = 0.512oC/m
  • i = van't Hoff factor 
  • m = molality of solution
  • T2 = boiling point of solution 
  • T1 = boiling point of pure solvent

Now, 

Tb is directly proportional to i x m . Higher the value of i x m , higher will be the boiling point of solution and vice-versa.
