What is Quadratic Surface:
A quadratic or quadratic surface is a generalisation of conic sections in mathematics. In higher dimensions, it is often referred to as a quadratic hyper-surface. It is known as the zero set of an irreducible polynomial of degree two in n + 1 variables, such as n = 1 in the case of conic sections. It is a hyper-surface (of dimension n) in a (n + 1)-dimensional space.
