to flood risk at that area, there is a proposal to upgrade the channel to the Channel 2.
Determine the flowrate in Channel 2 if the bed slope and Manning coefficient are the same

b) A natural drainage system with a condition described as "natural streams, rough" in
Bandar Kuantan was flooded recently. The flow cross-sectional area, wetted perimeter
and channel slope at the time of the peak flood were 150 m², 25 m and 0.0008
respectively. If 40% from the peak flood need to be diverted to the nearest concrete culvert
with a slope of 0.035%, suggest the suitable size of the culvert if the water is to be
