Ecosystem is a community or area where animals, plants and many other elements or organisms live or work along with the climate / weather and landscape to form a community. Both living (biotic) and non-living (abiotic) co-exist togther in this community. Every community in the ecosystem is linked to each other directly or indirectly. If there is any change in the climate in the ecosystem it may affect what kind of plant will grow in that place. That may indirectly affect the kind of animals and microorganisms growing in that area. On the whole the entire ecosystem is changed due to one minute change. An ecosystem can be either small or big.
