Expert Solution
Step 1

Hepatitis is the liver inflammation that affects the normal functioning of the liver. It is caused by the consumption of alcohol, drugs, a few medical conditions, toxins, etc.  Hepatitis A, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C are some of the common types of hepatitis.

Step 2

Hepatitis A is the liver infection caused by the hepatitis A virus. It is usually present only for a short time that lasts for several weeks to months. It is caused by ingestion of fecal contaminated food or water. It is also caused by foodborne outbreaks. Mild fever, appetite loss, diarrhea, nausea, distress in the abdomen, dark-colored urine, and jaundice, etc., are some of the symptoms of hepatitis A infection.
