Oogenesis
The formation of the ovum (mature female gamete) from undifferentiated germ cells is called oogenesis. This process takes place in the ovaries (female gonads). Oogenesis consists of three stages known as the multiplication phase, growth phase, and maturation phase.
Cell Division
Cell division involves the formation of new daughter cells from the parent cells. It is a part of the cell cycle that takes place in both prokaryotic and eukaryotic organisms. Cell division is required for three main reasons:
A chromosome that was involved in a reciprocal translocation also
has an inversion. In addition, the cell contains two normal
chromosomes.
Make a drawing that shows how these chromosomes will pair during
metaphase of meiosis I.

Meiosis is a kind of cell division that takes place in sexually reproducing organisms which results in the formation of reproductive cells. They are sperm cells in males and eggs in females. Reproduction is a process to produce offspring by mating two gametes to form the zygote. Reproduction ensures the continuity of species on earth.
