Expert Solution
Step 1

Hacktivism:-

Hacktivism—a term created by fusing the words "hack" and "activism"—describes the act of hacking, or breaking into a computer system, for reasons that are political or social. One who engages in hacktivism is referred to as a hacktivist. The goal of a hacktivist who engages in such actions, such as altering a website or releasing information about a company, is to spread awareness of a cause they support.

Government organizations, multinational corporations, and any other organizations are deemed to be frequent targets for hackers. No matter what the motivation may be, obtaining unauthorized access to any organization's assets through such activities is a crime.
