Instructions Write an application that allows a user to enter any number of student quiz scores, as integers, until the user enters 99. If the score entered is less than 0 or more than 10, display Score must be between 10 and 0 and do not use the score. After all the scores have been entered, display the number of valid scores entered, the highest score, the lowest score, and the arithmetic average. An example of the program is shown below: Enter a score >> 6 Enter another score or 99 to quit >> 7 Enter another score or 99 to quit >> 9 Enter another score or 99 to quit >> 7 Enter another score or 99 to quit >> 99 4 valid scores were entered Highest was 9 Lowest was 6 Average was 7.25
Java:
Algorithm of the code:
1. Create a Scanner object, int variables for score, validCount, highest, lowest, total, and a boolean validScore.
2. Prompt the user to enter a score and store the input in the score variable.
3. Check if the score is equal to 99. If it is, break out of the loop.
4. Check if the score is greater than or equal to 0 and less than or equal to 10. If it is, set validScore to true.
5. Increment validCount by 1 and add the score to the total.
6. Check if the score is greater than the highest. If it is, set the highest score.
7. Check if the score is less than the lowest. If it is, set the lowest to the score.
8. Prompt the user to enter another score or 99 to quit.
9. Repeat until the user enters 99.
10. Calculate the average and print out the results.
