The human body is composed of water up to 60 to 65 % in an average adult. Each cell has cytoplasm the major content of the cytoplasm is water. Water is a very important source for our body, without water our body dehydrates and dies in few days to weeks.
The routes of water entry and water loss for the body:
Water is majorly taken into our body by digestive tract, in the form of drinking water, fluids and small quantity in solid foods. Water exits our body via different routes. The major route is by urination. Kidneys in our body help to collect the excessive water along with waste products and send it out of the body in the form of urine. Minor amount of water is removed by sweat from the skin. Very very minute amount is removed by the lungs with the air and we even don’t that water is removing from the air we expel out, it is that much minute quantity.
