Masculinity defines strong and powerful manhood. A man should not cry or have emotions and always be ready to do a heroic activity. Porter has coined a term called 'Man Box' to describe what society expects from a man. Society always wants a man to be brave, powerful, successful, strong, controlling, fearless, dominating, and most importantly, emotionless. The man box is not only consisting of expectation towards masculinity but also preoccupied the notion for women. According to the Man Box, any female is lesser than men and should be treated as an object because women are men's property.
