In this assignment, you will implement line drawing algorithms. The assignment consists of two parts,
In the first part, you will do research to find the following implementations:
1) Prepare a grid environment to work on (using any language), which includes the following
features:
• Read, write and display images. You should also be able to click on an image to specify the
mouse coordinates, and change the value of pixels on the image.
2) Find an implementation of a line drawing algorithm that works on this environment. (This can
be any algorithm.) When you click on two points on the grid, your program should display the
line drawing. (Note that, you will be using this implementation in the fourth assignment.)
In the second part, you will implement the midpoint algorithm we have seen in class. Your code should
be an exact implementation of the pseudocode given in the slides. Your implementation should be on
the same grid environment. When the user clicks on 2 points on the grid, again your program should
display the line drawing. The input values should be consistent with the 2 assumptions of the
algorithm; x0<x1 and the slope should be less than 1 (0<m<l).
