Finance is management of funds and monetary value of the company.
As in finance, investor value the company based on their financial ratios. These ratios comes from the four financial statements of the firm. The four financial statements which are balance sheet, income statement, cashflow and the statement of equity shareholders are prepared form the journal entries and the financial transactions recorded.
Therefore accounting is very key on which financial statements are made.
