The acid dissociation constant of this acid is given by:

Ka =  H+ A-HA

For the strong acid, the value of Ka will be greater than the weak acid. The negative logarithm of the Ka is known as pKa. The pKa of an acid is given by:

pKa = -log Ka

Due to the negative logarithm, the pKa value of a strong acid is less than a weak acid.
