A multidisciplinary discipline called organizational behavior (OB) studies various aspects of human behavior in organizational contexts. Of the five outcome variables routinely examined in OB, the “job satisfaction” variable is perhaps the most interesting. We will provide a detailed introduction and summary of our response discussing the factors that contributed to this decision.
Introduction:
Understanding and controlling the attitudes and behavior of individuals and groups within an organization is central to organizational behavior. Job satisfaction, organizational commitment, job performance, absenteeism, and turnover are the five main outcome variables that are frequently examined in OB. Each of these factors is extremely important in determining how well an organization functions and how healthy it is. However, the characteristic that is best suited to draw attention to is job satisfaction, and here's why:
