DELTOID : Deltoid is a muscle group that consists of muscles that surround the shoulder, it includes the muscles that help in motion of arm along with the shoulder.

Muscles in Deltoid Muscle group:

1. Anterior deltoid : These are the muscles that are found in the front side of our shoulder and are attached with the clavicle bone, they help in the forward movement of our arm with the help of shoulder. These are the muscles that  help in pushing the arm above the head.

2. Lateral Deltoid : These are the muscles that are found on the lateral sides of the shoulder and are attached with a bony knob on the shoulder called as acromion , they help us to raise our arms towards the sides of our body.

3. Posterior deltoid : these are the muscles of deltoid (shoulder) which are the found on the rear side of our shoulder connected to the flat surface of shoulder blade, they help us to lift our arm towards the back side.
