Expert Solution
Step 1

I)

When Moon travels in circular path around Earth, A centripetal force on moon applied by earth which is provided by gravitational force between them.

now if gravitational between earth and moon disappeared then centripetal force will be zero so moon will be no longer moving in circular path but it will follow tangential and straight line path as according to newton first law of motion.

so moon path changes from circular path to straight line path.
