Hi:)

First of all, Thank you for reading my question.

I'm Korean, so there would be some errors.. Sorry for that.

I'm doing some stuff for my university, and asking for help because there's a problem I cannot rid of.

[Principles of Instrumental analysis 7th edition Chapter 1 question 11]

About 'a linear calibration plot', The solution says it 'can be done manually'.

I want to know how the graph came out, without using Excel.

Guess it'll be similar with question 10, but I have no idea what x, y should be.

To get m, I should know about Sxx, Sxy, and to get those, I should calculate sigma xy. And to get xy, I should know what x, y are, but I'm not sure what x, y should be.

Does x should be volume (0, 0.5, 1.0. 1.5, 2.0) or [Phenobarbital] (0, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0)? I've calcuated both of them, but neither of them was the answer. (I let y as fluorescence of each of solutions; 3.26, 4.80, 6.41, 8.02, 9.56)

Would you help me please...

Thank you

1-11 Exactly 5.00-mL aliquots of a solution containing phenobarbital were measured into 50.00-mL volumetric
flasks and made basic with KOH. The following volumes of a standard solution of phenobarbital containing
2.000 ug/mL of phenobarbital were then introduced into each flask and the mixture was diluted to volume:
0.000, 0.500, 1.00, 1.50, and 2.00 mL. The fluorescence of each of these solutions was measured with a
fluorometer, which gave values of 3.26, 4.80, 6.41, 8.02, and 9.56, respectively.
