Equations and Inequations
Equations and inequalities describe the relationship between two mathematical expressions.
Linear Functions
A linear function can just be a constant, or it can be the constant multiplied with the variable like x or y. If the variables are of the form, x2, x1/2 or y2 it is not linear. The exponent over the variables should always be 1.
I I am using the HARE method, would I choose B as the winner since B has more than 50% of total votes in the 2nd round?
5 | 4 | 3 | 2 | 1 | |
1st | A | B | C | D | D |
2nd | B | C | D | A | B |
3rd | D | D | A | B | C |
4th | C | A | B | C | A |
The HARE method suggests that the candidate who gets more than 50% votes is declared as winner.
If none got the enough of 50% votes to determine the winner, further rounds are considered by eliminating the candidate with least number of votes.
