I hope you’re well. We have a research report/proposal due for Statistics next month. We were told to gather data on anything related to schools, learners or teachers. I have chosen to gather data on academic achievement and sports participation. I am interested in the difference between a learners academic achievement and whether he/she takes part in sports or not. I received data from the school which I put into a table. It is the academic term average for those who do sports and those who do not. We are now required to carry out two tests along with graphs etc. I have done the t-test and am happy with the results. I would like to do a chi-square test as my second test, but I am completely lost. I have my raw data (please see attached) but I am struggling to move forward. I need to find out what the observed and expected data is (from my raw data) and carry out the test.  Please could you assist me. I would really love to do well in this course, but it is not my strongest subject. I would really appreciate your help

Thanks again for the solution. I now need to represent this data visually using either a bar graph, histogram, pie chart, distribution graph etc. I need two visual representations. I have spent all day trying to google how to represent chi-square results visually in excel, but haven't had much success.
