Question

Please use Kirchoff's voltage law to help me find the voltage at each node (VA and VB) in the diagram pictured. For clarity, the voltage source is 10V, R1=2.2kohms, R2=4.7kohms, R3=3.9kohms, R4=1kohms.

VA-10V/2.2k ohms - VA/4.7k ohms - VA-VB/3.9k ohms = 0

VA-VB/3.9K ohms - VB/1k ohms = 0

Follow-up Question

I go through this every time so I don't know why I'm surprised... Perhaps you used symbols that disappeared when you copy and pasted from some other document, but I don't understand what comes after the = in the second permutation of node A.  I understand you multiplied the numerators, or subtracted VA twice to get VA on the other side of the equal sign, but I don't know where 0.924 comes from, I don't know where -0.256 comes from, I don't know where 4.545 comes from.  These equations probably shouldn't be typed.  Consider writing them on paper and sharing the scan, I guess.  Maybe consider letting me know why I always have to ask the same question twice, too.
