I find that I am better at understanding almost all aspects of Resp 104 because I am still a believer that online classes aren't a fit for my learning style. I am more of a visual and auditory learner, and having the opportunity to discuss real-world and clinical examples in class has helped to fill in some of the missing pieces. I enjoy the lab portion, as it's always interesting getting to learn some skills to perform in clinicals. The addition of a clinical class to my schedule has definitely altered my school-life balance. I have an all-day, late class on Mondays, which is followed by an extremely long and draining clinical day that offers no room to get anything completed. To improve my balance, I have had to be more deliberate with how I prioritize tasks to make sure I'm fulfilling all my daily obligations. Additionally, I have had to learn to cope with little or no sleep and say no to some recreational activities in order to make sure I can stay on top of my studies.
