I am wondering what does it mean if I am asked to explain something geometrically?  This is the problem I have to solve: In  Dn  explain geometrically why a reflection followed by a reflection must be a rotation. I don't necessarily want a solution to the question, as I want to think some more about it, but rather what should I be thinking as far as how I'm going to "explain my answer geometrically".  What does that mean in terms of how I'm going to express my answer.  So far I said that if the second reflection is the same as the first reflection, then you have the original figure back, and so that can be considered a rotation of 0 degrees.  Is that a geometric explanation?  Or does there need to be something else?  I know I still need to say what happens if the second reflection is different from the first.
