I am going to run a statistical test in SPSS for N=20 particants who filled out a survey. I have 4 variable that I believe are the indepedent variables and they are 3 different religions chosen and a 4th that is "none" in case they don't have one. I then have 6 dependent variables being questions asking the strength of how religion affects their life, rated on a scale of 1-10 depending on strength. Am I right that my independent variable is type of religion and dependent variables are the 6 questions of strength of belief? Would the type of religion be a nominal variable and the dependent variable (the rated questions) be a within groups ordinal variable? I didn't think it would be scale? Once I get those answers I think I would know what test to do in SPSS. If you have a thought on that too (ie Kruskal Walis), I do appreciate it. Otherwise, just know about the status of the variables would be a great help. Thanks!
