The following pressure, temperature and specific humidity measurements
were made from radiosonde soundings on day 11 of the Wangara PBL
experiment:

 

A. Characterize the various layers on the basis of local and nonlocal stability and discuss the differences between the two.


B. Estimate the height of the inversion base (zi), as well as the PBL height (h). 
Discuss the sensitivity of the latter to the near-surface temperature.
