To determine the time duration of a project, the critical path has to be identified. The critical path method or CPM is used by project managers to evaluate the least amount of time required to finish each task with the least amount of delay.

The entire idea of cost of production or definition of production cost is applied corresponding or we can say that it is related to investment or money cost. Money cost or investment refers to any money expenditure which the firm or supplier or producer undertakes in purchasing or hiring factor of production or factor services.

How to Treat Inventory?
Inventory management decisions need to be made based on a consistent set of data that is shared between the different constituents which then enables decision making as an overall process. Although different parts of the supply chain make its own decisions, the fact that the decisions relevant to the supply chain’s outlook need to be made based on the entire ecosystem rather than different landscapes can be argued.
Decisions made for a particular aspect of the supply chain has a large carry over to its other activities and processes. When a firm makes a decision, it is not as simple as changing a single variable since the interdependent nature of a supply chain makes it imperative that the firm considers the ripple effect of changes introduced throughout the supply chain.
