Splitting pattern :- It follows the (n+1) rule,
Where, n = number of chemically distinct protons on adjacent carbon.
Shielding and deshielding :- most deshielded proton will have higher chemical shift value i.e. lie in downfield and the most shielded proton will have lower chemical shift value i.e lie in upfield.
