Question

How do I create a binomial situation using n = 5.

Expert Solution
Step 1

Given:-

binomial distribution

n=5

now,

let X~Binn,p

here n=5

in binomial distribution we calculate probability of number of success

PX=r=crn pr qn-r    ,         r=0,1,2,3........n

here,

n= number of trials

r= number of success

n-r= number of failures

p=probability of success in given trial

q=probability of failure (1-p) in given trial

These probabilities hold for any value of X between 0 (lowest number of possible successes in n trials) and n (highest number of possible successes).
