Hi. So I got a test question wrong. The question was: A bottle of cola purchased in Europe gave the volume as 50cl. What is this volume in ml? I didn't know what cL was so I searched what 'cl' meant and how many ml was in 1cl. It said that 1cl= 10mL. So then I went ahead and multiplied 50cl by 10 ml and got 500ml. Our topic also had something to do with calculating sig figs aka significant figures and it was kind of confusing for me. We had to apply it to our answers. I thought that because 50 cl x 10 cl there will only be 1 sig fig which was the number 5 or 1 so I went ahead and wrote 5 as my answer. It was wrong though.
