Solution:

PCI

PCI is Peripheral Component Interconnect. A hardware bus which allows to  add  some internal components to computer. PCI is parallel interface  as it uses the  parallel bus structure. We can insert a PCI card into PCI slot on the motherboard which helps to  provide  IO ports additionally.

PCIe:

The  PCI Express is the latest  version of PCI.  PCI express serial interface which uses a network of serial connections  that are controlled with the help of  hub present on motherboard.  PCI Express cards are faster compared to  PCI cards. There  should be one PCI Express Slot  available  at least , to use PCI Express card.
