Hi, I have a math problem ... Can you help? I have a 860 sticker collection. Stickers are sold in packs of 4 I want to know how much packs I need to buy (on average) to collect at least 80% of the stickers in the collection. This is considering every sticker is equally likely to occur in any pack. As a second problem, I would like to know the same thing (how much packs I need to buy, on average, to collect at least 80% of the stickers in the collection), considering that the collection is split into 20 phases (each contain 860/20=43 stickers) Ultimately I could later be also interested in some more advanced strategies to maximize probability of collection completion.
