Globalization has not benefited the poor countries. I believe countries are under developed and the globalization of many companies/brands has not helped. For example the Nike sweatshops provide more jobs, but it is harsh labor and they get paid almost nothing to work and have horrible living conditions. I fell the G20 countries exploit the poor countries because of us thinking we can give more jobs but in reality it doesn't make a difference in many countries. I believe that we should have a greater say in the climate change. I feel we need to learn more as we cause a lot of damage to the environment, leading to climate change. In regards to human security, it puts us at risk with open trade with countries, we can bring in diseases and many other negative factors. I feel globalization is good to an extent, it is profit driven for the US, but not for other countries if they are exploited, it creates an imbalance. For the US, it allows us to have lower costs and drive prices down. It hurts many countries that are poor, but can help some countries that are developing. I feel countries do have a say in globalization. Globalization is dominated by companies and other countries can close borders for trade so I feel that is a way they can have a say.
