Question

Give differences between Frog and shark about the urinogenital system?

Expert Solution
Step 1

Vertebrates:

These are those organisms that have a spinal cord and it is surrounded by bone or cartilage. Those organisms which do not have spinal cord know as invertebrates. Vertebrates belong to the Animalia kingdom and phylum is Chordata. There are five vertebrate groups i.e. mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fishes, and birds.

Step 2

Urinogenital system of frog

On the dorsal side of the cloaca, the ureters are open over a distinct papilla. The ureters dilate in the male frogs, on posterior to the kidney to form a vesicula seminalis where sperms are stored. In male frogs, the ureters convey the urine, and sperms are called urinogenital ducts.
