f(x +h) – f(x) Find the difference quotient of f, that is, find h+ 0, for the following function. h f(x) = - 4x + 6 f(x + h) – f(x) (Simplify your answer.)
Equations and Inequations
Equations and inequalities describe the relationship between two mathematical expressions.
Linear Functions
A linear function can just be a constant, or it can be the constant multiplied with the variable like x or y. If the variables are of the form, x2, x1/2 or y2 it is not linear. The exponent over the variables should always be 1.
I swear this homework was made to spite me, every single time, everything cancels out meaning the answer would be 1, but every single time, it says, "Nope, that's wrong" when litterally everything I tried would make the answer be 1 due to how the equation is done, either I'm doing something wrong here or this question is made to just spite people
