For the following table for student grades, create a relational data model after normalization using MySQL. PK/FK and cardinalities should be defined. If needed, you can make some assumptions. All tables should be in the third normal form (3NF). You need to submit a MySQL Workbench Model (Only files with the extension .mwb will be accepted).

Expert Solution
Step 1

Here our task is to create the given table in mysql which follows 3 NF.

Here as we can observe {Student ID} is the candidate key which is the only prime attribute.

The course Title depends on the Course Code which depends on Student ID so it has to be removed.

Similarly Letter grade depends on Course Score which further depends on Student ID, so it also has to be addressed.

So after normalisation, we will have 3 tables.
