For elements 3-20, make a graph of atomic radius as a function of atomic number. Plot atomic number on the X axis and atomic radius on the Y-axis. For elements in Family 1A (1) and Family 2A (2), graph period number vs. atomic radius. Use a different color or symbol for each line. For elements 3-20, make a graph of ionization energy as a function of atomic number. Plot atomic number on the X-axis and ionization energy on the Y-axis.

to label each axis.
2. You will need to use Excel/Google Sheets on your computers to graph each set of data. Then you
will need to copy each graph and place it into your graphs/data section.
a. When imputing data your x-axis is the first column and your y-axis is your second
column.
3. Creating the graph
a Highlight the data you wish to graph.
b. Select the insert tab at the top of the screen.
c. Click on scatter plot (Chart if google sheet then change to scatter) to get graph.
d. Click on graph settings to get labels and lines as needed.
4. For elements 3-20, make a graph of atomic radius as a function of atomic number. Plot atomic
number on the X axis and atomic radius on the Y-axis.
5. For elements in Family 1A (1) and Family 2A (2), graph period number vs. atomic radius. Use a
different color or symbol for each line.
6. For elements 3-20, make a graph of ionization energy as a function of atomic number. Plot
atomic number on the X-axis and ionization energy on the Y-axis.
7. For elements in Family 1(1A) and Family 2 (2A), graph period number vs. ionization energy.
Use a different color or symbol for each line.
