Expert Solution
Step 1

According to our honor code, we are answering the first question.

Caesar Cipher:

  • Caesar Cipher is one of the oldest and easiest ways of encrypting a message and is also known as a shift cipher.
  • It is a type of substitution cipher in which each letter in the original message is replaced by a letter corresponding to a certain number of letters moved up or down in the alphabet.
  • Every alphabet letters take its position; say for example 3 for letter “C” and it shit by the key number.
  • If the user had a key of +3 that the letter “C” would be shifted to an “F” and the same process would be done for every letter in the original message (which is called plain text in cryptography).
  • In this way, the message that was readable initially would end up in a form that cannot be understood at a simple glance.
  • For example.
    • Consider the plain text, “THE BROWN FOX JUMPS OVER THE LAZY DOG”,
    • Then the cipher text would be “QEB NRFZH YOLTK CLU GRJMP LSBO QEB IXWV ALD”.
