Explain the importance of water and salts to body homeostasis.
Homeostasis- The term homeostasis means the maintenance of the normal environment of the body. homeostasis is very necessary for the normal functioning of the body. Our body cell functions in a balanced environment but if there is an imbalance that occurs inside the body it will disrupt the normal cell function and affects the whole body.
The maintenance of sodium and water content is very necessary for maintaining normal body function. Whenever there is the excess sodium content in the body the body starts increasing the water content to maintain the optimal level of sodium water concentration and when there is low sodium content the body starts excreting water through the kidney to prevent the increasing amount of sodium in the arteries.
