Intermolecular forces have an effect on many physical properties, such as surface tension, viscosity, capillary action, boiling point, and evaporation. Evaporation occurs below the boiling point of a substance and is affected by air movement and the temperature of the surroundings. In this investigation, the physical properties of liquids will be investigated as well as the rate of evaporation of liquids. The intermolecular forces present in the substance will be related to these physical propertis and processes. 

In order to prepare for this investigation, complete the following questions, with a focus on what intermolecular forces could be present in a pure sample of the liquids being studied. 

You are given the methods used to investigate the unknown liquids and the results. Your task is to identify the unknown liquids based on these results and relate your identification to the intermolecular forces being exhibited by each substance. 

You will be creating and submitting a single document that will have all answers clearly labeled, along with any sources you used with APA citations.
